City of Lincoln City Ward I, Ward II, Ward III, and Mayor Election

Community members interested in an application for any of the open positions shall contact the City Recorder at (541)996-1203 or email cityrecorder@lincolncity.org for an appointment or to receive an application via email.

Basic Information:

• The election is for:
  • Ward I, expiring December 31, 2030
  • Ward II, expiring December 31, 2030
  • Ward III, expiring December 31, 2030
  • Mayor, expiring December 31, 2030
• You must be a registered voter in Lincoln City
• You must be a resident of the City for the previous six months (February 20, 2026)
• The first day to file was June 03, 2026

Deadlines:

• The deadline to file with the City is August 19, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Must file "Prospective Petition" SEL 101 for candidacy with the City Elections Official.
• The deadline for the "Candidate Information Statement" to be filed with the Lincoln County Clerk is September 08, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
• The last day to register to vote or change party affiliation is October 13, 2026.
• Ballots are mailed on October 14, 2026
• The election date is November 03, 2026
